Most delegates are public servants or politicians from other cities, regions and countries. The remaining delegates are from academia, press, NGO’s and business sectors. 50 per cent of all delegations come from Europe and our neighbours to the south, Germany, at the top of the list, followed by our northern neighbours from Sweden and Norway. From other parts of the world we mainly get visits from Southeast Asia and Northern America. However, we have also had visits from, for instance, Uzbekistan, Bangladesh, Kuwait and Kenya.
We are very happy that Copenhagen can inspire with our solutions to so many different parts of the planet and are happy to learn from other cities as well, as we often stand with many of the same challenges in relation to climate changes, growing cities and enhancing the quality of life for our citizens.
